A friend of mine has a Springfield Armory M1911 A1. The gun has on the serial number (I think) and also on the magazine the letters NM. I guessed that they might mean National Match. The owner has asked around and other people say that Nat. Match is a good guess, but they still aren't sure. If anybody has info on the letters I would like to know. Thanks
